COEN puts 9 provinces of Junín on red alert due to landslides and rains
Five men, including three minors, were intervened by the National Police after a complaint filed by a 14-year-old adolescent, related to an alleged crime of sexual rape that occurred at the San Cristóbal viewpoint, in the district of Sapallanga.
According to the complaint, the minor left the house to meet a friend, they drank alcoholic beverages in the Sapallanga viewpoint area and woke up in the early morning half-naked in the open field. He returned home and reported what had happened to his mother, with whom he later went to the police station to formalize the complaint. The victim would have recognized some of those allegedly involved, which allowed the corresponding procedures to be carried out.
Those intervened were identified as Renzo Gaspar (19), Andy Sarmiento (18) and three minors aged 14, 15 and 16, who remained at the disposal of the authorities for legal investigations. The Police reported that actions continue to locate a sixth person who would be related to the case.
