The event was organized by Electrocentro, which highlighted that they do not have any unused cables and that they all belong to telecommunications companies.
Carlos Romero, head of the Maintenance and Distribution Unit of the company Electrocentro, indicated that the municipalities of Huancayo and Chilca will request from the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) the action plans that the telecommunications companies should have submitted.
On the other hand, Rocío Vásquez Caicedo, head of the Private Investment Supervisory Body in Telecommunications (OSIPTEL), stated that the letter sent to the MTC will determine whether telecommunications operators complied with the delivery of their plans and schedules.
