Unanimously, the municipal council of El Tambo approved the agreement with the Provincial Municipality of Huancayo for the collection of solid waste. Thus, the district of El Tambo is declared incapacitated and will receive help from the province to address the garbage problem that has been plaguing residents for weeks.

The agreement consists of the Municipality of Huancayo lending three compactors to the district of El Tambo, for a period of 30 days. Mayor Julio Cesar Llallico pointed out that the work will be reciprocal between both state institutions and after 30 days the agreement could be renewed.
During these first 30 days, the Municipality of El Tambo must seek to correct the deficiencies that exist in the collection of solid waste. During the council session, the councilors asked that public cleaning workers be better deployed.

Regarding the purchase of new compactors, the councilor of the El Tambo district, Iván Medina, in a local media stated that to date the purchase of these vehicles has not been made, because the bank reviewed the file and it would be poorly prepared , a fact that will have to be rectified while they receive help from the province.
