Ten beauty salons located in the Constitución Shopping Center were fined after it was detected that they used expired products in their aesthetic procedures, exposing the health of their clients. The inspectors verified the use of nail polish, keratin, dyes, hair botox and other aesthetic products that expired two years ago.
The operation was directed by the Bromatology Unit of the Provincial Municipality of Huancayo (MPH) and coincides not only with the Christmas season, but with the massive holding of promotion parties and graduations, which means that every day hundreds of Huancaínos come to have cuts, hairstyles and other treatments without knowing that they expose their integrity.
“Many of these products come into contact with the skin, hands, eyebrows, etc., and have expired since 2023 and 2024. People come to improve their appearance, but they can end up worse”warned Jesús Vila Retamozo, head of the Bromatology Unit.

The official warned that clients are exposed to poisoning, allergies, redness and other complications, since an expired product does not maintain its properties.
“Citizens who go to these locations should ask for the expiration date of the products that are going to be used on their body.”he finally urged.
The ten stores, all located on the fourth floor of the central establishment, were sanctioned with a fine equivalent to 15% of the ITU.
