Huancayo: disappeared non -commissioned family in Mantaro requires intensifying search work

Faced with the headquarters of the Junín Police Region, the third -term family of third Miguel Vilca Ccos (24) made a protest with banners to demand General Danilo Vera Carbajal greater support and sending specialized personnel in aquatic rescue to continue the search for the young man, disappeared in the waters of the Mantaro River after a traffic accident occurred last Friday.

After the demonstration, General Vera received relatives at a dialogue table and promised to reinforce search work in the area.

Vilca’s relatives remember him as a quiet and respectful young man, who returned to Huancayo to see his sick mother, without imagining that an accident would mark the beginning of this distressing wait.

The incident occurred in the Quiulla toll sector, Huari district (Youli – La Oroya province), when the vehicle in which five troops were traveling and fell to the Mantaro River. Four of them managed to leave alive, but so far Vilca Ccos remains missing.
