Huancayo: Civil construction workers march against vulneration of labor rights (video)

Civil construction workers from different provinces of Junín joined the National Protest Day with a march that departed from the Mariscal Castilla stadium. The workers denounced that Sunafil does not protect them and pointed out that their labor rights are violated in several works, holding the Junín Regional Government, Regional Directorate of Labor and Employment Promotion and Municipality of Huancayo.

During the tour, the protesters reached the Regional Directorate of Labor and Employment Promotion, where the director Diana Roxana Conde Montoya reported that five unions no longer have current proof after an inspection. He also said that in the second semester new verifications began and urged organizations to correct observations within the established deadlines.

Subsequently, the workers went to the headquarters of the Junín Regional Government to demand that public works are not addressed or favor what they called “pseudisindicates”, noting that they feel discriminated against in front of these practices.

The march of civil construction workers in Huancayo was marked by tensions, after the Calle Real took place and confrontation with the police, which tried to release part of the road.
