The Huancayo Benevolent Society (SBH) organizes a guided tour of the General Cemetery of Huancayo, today, October 31, starting at 7:00 p.m. Visitors will be able to tour the cemetery that houses more than 20 thousand souls.

In a 20-minute tour, attendees will be able to learn the stories of the illustrious people who rest in the cemetery such as writers, artists and recognized figures, as well as the tragic events that marked history such as the accident of the complete promotion of Santa Isabel.

“Our goal is for the community to know the history of their ancestors and value the legacy they left us. This is an opportunity for new generations to become familiar with the names and stories that are part of our cultural identity,” said the president of the board, Miguel Chamorro.
