With stones and tires, the residents closed Independencia Avenue in the area of Caminito de Huancayo and in front of the Ramiro Prialé Prialé hospital. They claim that the company Mejesa SRL does not pay the workers and because of this the work is paralyzed.

The residents fear the arrival of the rainy season, as the unfinished work will cause all the roads to turn into mud, making pedestrian traffic difficult for all residents and putting the lives of children and the elderly at risk. According to the president of this human settlement, Santiago López, so far the work has only progressed 20% when it should already be 75%.

The work had a deadline of 270 calendar days, that is, it was to be delivered on August 30, however, less than a month later the work remains unfinished due to constant stoppages. This is due to disagreements between the company Mejesa SRL and the Ministry of Housing.
