The highways of Huancavelica are once again the scene of armed robberies, where criminals, taking advantage of how desolate the roads are, attack innocent travelers with their misdeeds.
The last crime on the road occurred three days ago, on the Pampas – Salcabamba route, the victims being a family of merchants of basic necessities and others.
ROAD ASSAULT IN TAYACAJA
The case occurred after 5:00 p.m. on the Pampas – Salcabamba road, near the Cucharán area.
A truck that transports groceries, soft drinks, beers and other products, is intercepted by a white car with tinted windows, which was occupied by three individuals, who armed with firearms (pistols), get out of the vehicle after stopping the truck. at gunpoint.

The assailants lowered the occupants from the vehicle and, after reducing them to the ground and tying them up, took all the money they had accumulated as a result of the day’s sales and collections, even stealing 30 thousand soles in money.
After obtaining what they wanted, the subjects shot at the truck’s tires and then left and fled in an unknown direction.
After the criminals left, the victims proceeded to ask for help, which was heard by the local residents, who supported the victims so that the assault was reported to the watchmen of the Daniel Hernández District Municipality and to the policemen of the Pampas – Tayacaja police station.
It should be noted that it was already night when the police officers and watchmen went to the scene of the events to verify what had happened.
