Huancavelica: Sixty-year-old man dies after being crushed by a tree

On Wednesday, August 28, in the district of Matipacana, Yauli district, Huancavelica province, a sixty-year-old man died after being crushed by a tree. Due to the family’s limited resources, the Yauli District Municipality provided them with help.

According to what the family told the Rodito Audaz media, the sexagenarian identified as Elíseo Condori Mayhua (65) was cutting trees when a branch broke off and diverted the direction of the fall of the tree that unfortunately ended up falling on top of the man.

Due to the family’s limited resources, the body was being laid to rest on the floor of the house, covered with blankets. Following a call to the authorities by the media outlet Rodito Audaz, the mayor of the Yauli District Municipality, Percy Ichpas Vargas, sent a coffin, food supplies and a niche for the deceased.
