In the morning hours of the last weekend, police personnel managed to recover a body that was found in the turbulent waters of the San Juan River, in the district of Aurahuá.

According to the information provided by the Police, the body would be Antony Eduard Vásquez Quispe (22), who, along with his brother, disappeared in the aforementioned tributary, and whose whereabouts were unknown until last Saturday.

It was after 06:24 hours when police personnel were searching for the missing person.
Thus, after the river flow decreased due to the cessation of intense rains in the district, the police managed to locate a lifeless body in a place called Astobamba.
The place in question is one kilometer from the Chupamarca bridge.

The corpse, which was in a ventral position and in a state of putrefaction, was found in the middle of rocks and without clothes.
According to the first investigations of the Police, the body would be that of the person who in life responded to the name of Antony Eduard Vásquez Quispe (22), who has been missing since March 15 of this year.
From the data of the disappearance, it is clear that the fact occurred when they were returning to their home after collecting their salaries from the work they had done in the construction of the irrigation intake in the San José de Chocoró Annex. The young man would have slipped into the San Juan River while trying to cross the tributary.
It should be noted that, after recovering the body, the police proceeded to carry out the act of removal of the body in the presence of the Tantará prosecutor, Alcides Cueva, who ordered the transfer of the body to the Aurahuá health center for the proceedings.
