This collective activity consists of the transfer of recently felled logs, which are moved from the place where they are cut, to the main square of Congalla, where they will be distributed for the roof of the communal house, educational centers, temples and bridges, and for later spare parts. The Kullu wantuy involves the eight ayllus that make up the Congalla district, which meet to carry out various activities in the second week of September.

The communal authorities organize the Watuckikuy, which consists of visiting the houses of each family to invite them to participate, the next day, in the Kullu wantuy. During these visits, they share coca leaves, cigarettes and cane, while the women sing harawis (songs related to life in the countryside), accompanied by tinya played by the men.

The Watuchikuy is followed by the ritual of the Kullu velay or evening of the trunk, a ritual expression to ask permission from nature for the trunk that will be cut, so that there is no accident. At dawn the next day, the community moves to extract the trees. In this process they appoint the ñahuin, who will be in charge of guiding the participants during the transfer of the logs.
