Huancavelica: Fugitive worker sentenced to 6 years in prison

The Collegiate of the Superior Court of Justice of Huancavelica sentenced Walter Gustavo CH.B. to six years in prison. (53) for the crime against sexual freedom, in the form of improper touching without consent, to the detriment of a minor under 16 years of age.

It should be noted that, currently, the sentenced, a worker by trade, is a fugitive.

SENTENCED ACCUSED OF IMPROPER TOUCHING

According to the approach presented by the prosecutor Lucio Condori, the events occurred at night between October 11 and 12 of last year.

It was after 11:45 p.m. when the defendant asked a teenage girl (the victim) for help because the subject had symptoms of having consumed alcoholic beverages, due to the fact that, hours before, he had libated in a safacasa.

The minor helps him to the point of accompanying him to his room. Being inside her, the subject tries to take advantage of the minor and touches her improperly.

The teenager manages to get away from the drunk subject and leaves the room looking for help.

For its part, the technical defense alleged the innocence of its client, stating that there are not enough elements for a conviction, for which he requested the acquittal of his client.

Likewise, the defendant apologized for the drunken state in which he was at the time of the events and defended himself by claiming innocence.

After evaluating the arguments of the procedural parties, the judges of the Collegiate decided to sentence the accused to six years of imprisonment, with effective character. Likewise, the magistrates have ordered a thousand soles of civil compensation in favor of the aggrieved party.

It should be noted that any of the procedural parties may appeal this result within the term established according to law.
