Eight residents of the district of Chupamarca, in the province of Castrovirreyna, saw death up close.
The minibus in which they were traveling lost its way and, after overturning, left 11 injured, including the eight residents of the Huancavelica region.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT IN YURAC YURAC
In the Cullhuanca annex, which is located in the district of San Pedro de Huacarpana (in the Chincha region), a microbus with license plate No. D8F-747 that was transporting passengers of different ages, including , some minors.
Due to the traffic accident, 11 people were injured in various areas of the body.
The first to arrive to the aid of the injured were the personnel of the health establishment of the town in question: Gabriela Carhuapuma Chávez and the doctor Iván Espinoza.

The injured were identified as Natalia Lume Pérez, Urbana Lume Fernández, Santa Martínez Perales, Quinticiano Quispe Martínez, Yulinio Yauri Martínez, in addition to five minors who were in the minibus. All these people received medical care at the accident site by health sector workers from San Pedro de Huacarpana, Chupamarca (Castrovirreyna) and San José.
It should be noted that, in total, there were 11 wounded, of which eight were from the Chupamarca district, and who were transferred to the San José de Chincha hospital.
Likewise, according to the investigation being carried out by the Police, the vehicle would have suffered a mechanical problem when it descended through Yurac Yurac. This would have caused the accident that, fortunately, did not end in fatality. However, the occupants are under observation, including the driver who was burned by the water from the radiator. The case was reported to the Prosecutor’s Office on duty and is already being investigated.

It should be noted that, at 1:00 p.m. on August 5, 2022, the traffic accident occurred that could be fatal. The plate microbus N° D8F-747 was driven by Willy Ramírez Chinchón. Apparently they were returning from a herranza.
