Huancavelica: driver arrested after accident that left a woman dead

The National Police arrested Juan Carlos AT (25) after the traffic accident that occurred at kilometer 26+150 of the Lircay-Huancavelica highway, at the intersection of the town center of Mosocancha, an event that left one person dead.

The person intervened is investigated for the alleged commission of a crime against life, body and health, in the form of manslaughter, after the mistake and crash of a vehicle whose circumstances are still a matter of investigation. The case was brought to the attention of the Public Ministry for legal proceedings.

As a result of the accident, Basilia Taipe Crispín (44) lost her life. Police officers went to the scene to cordon off the area and carry out the corresponding investigations, in order to determine who was responsible for the incident.

The authorities continue with the investigations to clarify how the accident occurred and establish the exact causes of the fatal outcome.
