A schoolboy, who goes by the initials J. Ll. T. (11) was referred from the Huancavelica Regional Hospital (HRH) Zacarías Correa Valdivia to the Pediatric Emergency Hospital in the city of Lima.
The doctor Javier Correa, director of the HRH, stated that the transfer of the child was by means of an ambulance because managing an airlift takes more time and the minor required immediate attention.
CHILD SERIOUSLY INJURED
The traffic accident occurred on April 29 of this year.
The boy was found on the side of the road in the district of Congalla, in the province of Angaraes, in serious condition and bleeding to death.
The minor had been the victim of a traffic accident and for several minutes was lying on the ground with serious injuries.

It was more than 6:00 p.m. when the minor was admitted to the Huancavelican hospital as an emergency.
“The patient was admitted to the hospital in serious condition, so he was treated immediately because the child had lost a lot of blood. The professionals were treating him until the moment he was referred to the hospital in Lima, ”said the director of the HRH.
According to the medical record managed by the HRH, the minor’s diagnosis is Cranial Brain Injury (CBI) and frontal fracture with cleft, since it requires treatment by Neurosurgery by professionals who treat minors.
“Coordinations were made and the patient was referred to the Pediatric Emergency Hospital in Lima for treatment. The transfer was after ten in the morning and he is being transferred in an ambulance because there was no time to carry out an airlift, “added Correa.
