This Wednesday, May 18, businessman howard buffett visited the town of Shark to analyze a possible millionaire investment intended for the adaptation of tertiary roads and productive projects in Catatumbo.
The visit took place in the military canton of Tibú, where Buffett learned about the humanitarian demining work carried out in the region by the National Army and heard the testimonies of soldiers who were victims of explosive devices.
“Howard Buffet highlighted the work of the soldiers of the National Army in the substitution of illicit crops, expressing that through the PDET he will lead peace transformed into works, such as the installation of aqueducts, the strengthening of education and the adaptation of roads“, reported the 2nd Division of the Army.

The businessman also reviewed the progress of the works that were projected in January 2020, when he visited the district of La Gabarra (Tibú) with President Iván Duque.
The resources provided by Buffet have been added to the investments of the Government of Norte de Santander, the Mayor’s Office of Tibú and international cooperation, to improve the road network in Catatumbo.
One of the works is 93 percent complete, while the others are still in the initial stage and do not exceed 20 percent.

The construction of a mega-school It is another of the bets of businessman Howard Buffett, and he would do it in association with the Pies Descalzos Foundation.
President Iván Duque granted Colombian nationality in October 2021 to Howard Buffett, son of Warren Buffett. In addition, the tycoon has been named as his successor and heads numerous companies and non-profit organizations.
Buffet has donated more than US$140 million to Colombia for various initiatives ranging from support for schools for the poorest, to crop substitution and support for the implementation of the peace agreements with the FARC.
