From March 31 to April 2 there will be multiple activities in which young people, communities, universities, companies and institutions can meet and build the future together, using technology as a tool to change the world, in a conscious and responsible way. That is the Campus Party proposal in its 2022 edition that will take place at the Punta del Este Convention Center.

The event, which has the support of Movistar and the Municipality of Maldonado, promises a unique proposal that will bring together the entire local ecosystem: universities, communities, companies, entrepreneurs and the public sector.

Campus Party has had more than 80 editions in 15 countries

Among the main speakers are: Sandra Cauffman (Deputy Director of the NASA Astrophysics Division), Luciano Giesso (International Sales Director, Satellogic), Federico Ast (expert in blockchain, crowdsourcing and metaverse), Natalia Bayona (Director of the Department of Innovation, Education and Investments of the World Tourism Organization), Robertson Escuotto (famous streamer), and the cyborg Manuel de Aguas, among others. The “campuseros”, as the participants are called, in addition to having thousands of hours of inspiration in the talks, will be able to participate in workshops and challenges with incredible prizes.

At the same time, more than 500 young people will be able to live in the Village area throughout the event, in tents specially designed for a unique experience. “After two digital editions due to the pandemic, we are very happy to return to Uruguay in person with this incredible global experience that is Campus Party. Campuseros from all over Uruguay and the region will have the opportunity to experience a completely innovative and unique proposal in our country”, commented Ever Miguez, Latin American partner of Campus Party.
