In WhatsApp for Android, the application does not have a native function to schedule messagesso it is necessary to resort to external applications. To do so, the user must enter the Play Store and download tools like SKEDit either Wasaviopen the app and grant the required permissions.

In the case of iPhone, the only alternative available is to create a automation to open WhatsApp at a specific time so that the user can send the message manualsince there is no automatic sending. The process is done from the app Shortcuts following this route: Shortcuts → Automation → Create personal automation → Time of day → Add action → WhatsApp → Open WhatsApp → Next → Disable “Ask before executing” → Don’t ask → OK. When the time comes, you will only need to write the message or copy and paste it from the clipboard.
In iOS there is no automatic sending of scheduled messages on WhatsApp. The only thing you can do is create an automation from the Shortcuts app so that WhatsApp opens at a certain time, leaving the final sending in the hands of the user. Apple does not allow the message to be sent without manual intervention.
Telegram
Telegram does include the message scheduling within the application. Simply hold down the send button and choose the option “Schedule message”. This feature is also available in “Saved messages”where scheduled texts work as reminders and generate a special notification.

Instagram allows schedule messages directly from chats. When you type the message and hold down the send arrow, the option to choose appears date and time. Scheduled messages are visible for editing or cancellation before sending.

In the case of emailboth Outlook and Gmail offer the option to schedule shipments. The message is composed normally and, instead of sending it immediately, the exact date and time in which it will reach the recipient. This feature is available on both computers and mobile devices.
