How to request Mercomuna vouchers
To access the Mercomuna program, interested parties must go to the Citizen Participation modules closest to their home. At these service points, registration is carried out in person, presenting the required documentation to validate your eligibility.
Registration ensures that the authorities review the personal data and documents submitted. Once the procedure is approved, vouchers with an amount of up to $1,000 pesos are granted, which can be used in markets, flea markets and small local businesses, promoting the community economy.
Requirements for Mercomuna
The program is aimed at residents of Mexico City between the ages of 19 and 56. To register, the following documentation must be presented:
Valid official identification. It can be a voter’s ID card, passport, professional ID card with photograph or National Military Service card. Original and copy required.
Proof of address. It must be no older than three months. Property bills, water, electricity, internet or telephone bills are accepted.
CURP. It is mandatory if it is not visible on the official identification.
