The non-profit corporation María Ayuda has launched a campaign to gather volunteers digital that contribute to disseminate and raise funds for its national online collection. This initiative aims to reach the goal of 100 million pesos by 2024 and continue providing support and protection to more than 250 children and adolescents who are victims of violence and who are sheltered in its 10 residences throughout the country.
The campaign will run from May 6 to 27, and during this period digital volunteers will be invited to actively participate in fundraising. As an incentive, a daily gift card of 100 thousand pesos to those volunteers who manage to raise the largest amount of donations each day. This gesture seeks to recognize and reward the efforts of those who join this noble cause of helping vulnerable children and adolescents in Chile.
Ignacio Concha, executive director of María Ayuda, highlighted the importance of having the collaboration of the volunteers digital to reach the fundraising goal. He explained that almost half of the corporation’s financing comes from its own income, so the contribution of volunteers is essential to cover necessary expenses, such as medications, clothing, education and therapies for the children and adolescents hosted.
The draws of the gift cards They will be carried out during the seven days of the national digital collection, which will take place from May 27 to June 2. In addition, a daily drawing will be held for a gift card for the same amount for those who make donations. To participate as a volunteer, you can access the link provided by the corporation and follow the instructions to register and actively collaborate in the campaign.
As volunteer, you are invited to carry out three main actions: invite new volunteers to join the collection, disseminate the NGO’s material on social networks and other media, and collect as many donations as possible, both in your personal piggy bank and in the general collection piggy bank. With the joint efforts of volunteers and donors, María Ayuda will be able to continue providing support and protection to the children and adolescents who need it most in Chile.
