Many of the young people in Colombia dream of buying a house, the National Government in this way, has arranged a new proposal to facilitate access to housing by the population between 18 and 28 years old.

It consists of three components: preferential conditions in the social interest housing loan (VIS), guarantees for mortgage credit 100% subsidized by the National Government and personalized support throughout the process.
through the National Savings Fund (FNA), It will be possible to access preferential single-digit interest rates, as well as a lower initial fee requirement for the purchase of VIS. With regard to the latter, up to 90% of the value of the home can be financed.

According to the latest figures from the Ministry of Housing, 43% of VIS homebuyers are young people under the age of 30. Since the project began to date, according to FNA reports, 9,287 credits have been approved in 26 departments (42 municipalities), of which 76% have been aimed at young people with incomes between 0 and 2 SMMLV.
This program is aimed at young people interested in buying a VIS home, that is, with a maximum price of 150 SMMLV or 135 SMMLV depending on the municipality where the home is purchased.

WHAT MUST BE CONSIDERED?

2. Be interested in buying a new Social Interest Home (VIS).

5. Not having previously received a housing subsidy from the National Government.
6. To access the 100% subsidized guarantee, you must have income of less than 2 SMMLV.

At the moment, the financial entity that offers the benefit of a preferential rate from 6.8% and financing of 90% is the National Savings Fund.
