The National Training and Employment Service (SENCE) has launched an initiative to support job seekers before the end of the year. With more than 50,000 job offers available, these fairs, both in-person and virtual, are designed to connect people with companies looking for talent. Additionally, workshops and training are offered to optimize job search tools, such as resume creation.
What can you expect from the SENCE job fairs?
Romina Morales, director of SENCE, highlighted that the service works directly with companies to identify vacancies and connect them with suitable applicants through the National Employment Exchange (BNE). This strategy seeks to benefit both unemployed people and those seeking new job opportunities. The fairs include spaces for career orientation, training and access to a wide network of business contacts.
Job fairs in different regions
The job fairs They are being carried out in several regions of Chile, offering in-person and virtual modalities. For example, in the Tarapacá Region, there will be an in-person fair in Pozo Almonte on December 4, while the virtual version will be available from December 4 to 6. In Valparaíso, the in-person fair will be held on December 10 in the Plaza Cívica, and the virtual one will be enabled from December 10 to 12.
In the Metropolitan Region, interested parties can participate in the virtual fair which will be available until November 29, while at the national level there will be an in-person fair on December 18 and 19 at the Estación Mapocho Cultural Center, followed by a virtual version from December 18 to 20.

In the case of in-person fairs, it is enough to go to the indicated place on the scheduled dates, where there will also be trained personnel to provide guidance and support in the application process.
