The Copa Sudamericana will begin this March for the four Bolivian teams. Unlike other editions, this one will have a single game in the previous phase, with a single locality, and also with greater economic prizes. The Conmebol officialized the prizes that will be delivered, which will be more than 77 million dollars.

The first phase of the tournament will be played in a single match and the first bolillos that came out, from each pairing, will officiate as locals. In this case, Guabirá will be local against Oriente Petrolero and Blooming will host Palmaflor at home.

Wednesday March 8:
– Guabirá – Oil East | 6:00 p.m. | tahuichi

Thursday March 9:
– Blooming – Palmaflor | 6:00 p.m. | tahuichi

Regarding payments and economic gains, increases in payments for participation in Sudamericana will be distributed up to USD 77,800,000, an increase of 30% compared to the previous edition.

That is to say:
Local sponsoring teams will receive $225,000, in addition to the collection, but will bear all logistics costs. The visitor will get $250,000.

Within the Group Phase, each club will receive $900,000, and also when they win a game they will receive an extra $100,000 (there are six games). Those classified to the round of 16 (first in each group) will receive 550,000 more, while those who finish second in the Group Phase will take half a million (these will be the ones who play the playoffs with the third from each group of Libertadores).

For example, if Blooming and Guabirá advance to the Group Phase, they will raise $1,125,000 (for being local); while if they do Oriente Petrolero and Palmaflor it will be 1,150,000 (because they are visitors).

In case they reach the Group Phase and win their three home games, 300,000 would be added to what they have already collected previously. The objective of each one is to reach this area, but to do it and start to string together some victoriesthe economic sphere could cease to be a concern.

The CONMEBOL Sudamericana champion could receive an accumulated amount of USD 8,675,000, at the end of the competition, with an increase of 8% compared to 2022. It will also dispute the bag assigned to the Recopa and automatically becomes a creditor of the amounts for participation in the group phase of CONMEBOL Libertadores the following year.

Nor is it other to clarify thatn this edition there are 44 teams that will participate in the Copa Sudamericana, but only 32 will play in the first phase, since they do not enter in this round the Argentine and Brazilian teams, who will play directly from the group stage.

In the event of a tie during the 90 minutes of play, the kicks from the penalty spot will be used directly to define the winner of the key. The winners of the first phase will get the ticket for the group phase.
