Nearly 1,200 million pesos have been returned in the last two years as a result of thousands of conciliations between clients and suppliers of goods and services carried out at the National Institute for the Protection of Consumer Rights (Pro Consumer).
This was revealed today by the executive director of the institution, Eddy Alcantarawho also reported that, through resolutions, the return of approximately 5,000 million pesos in the same span. That figure is triple what was returned in the 13 years of existence of Pro Consumer.
Of 15,200 claims and complaints received, more than 90% have been reconciled.
