The federal government acquired the “Héctor Espino” stadiums, in Hermosillo, and “Tomás Oroz Gaytán”, in Obregón, home of the “Yaquis”, where shopping centers were going to be built.

The purchase of the first stadium, once the home of the orange trees of Hermosillo, was for 511.6 million pesos, while the acquisition of the second was made for 545.6 million pesos.
Both stadiums are remodeled, through the Secretariat of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development (Sedatu), with federal resources.
