As of March 2022, the basic food basket in urban areas registered a price of 1,975 pesos for one person, according to figures from the Coneval (National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy).

For his part, the real minimum wage deflated was 149.69 pesos per day, according to figures from the Conasami (National Minimum Wage Commission).
