How much do I have to pay as a fine if I don't vote in the regional second round?

On December 4, citizens of nine departments of the country must go to their polling place to participate in the . But what happens if they do not comply with their duty to pay?

A total of 6 million 892,945 citizens of Amazonas, Cajamarca, Callao, Cusco, Lambayeque, Lima Provinces, Moquegua, Pasco and Piura are authorized to attend the amphoras in the Second Regional Election 2022 and elect their respective governors and lieutenant governors.

  • You will not be able to get your passport.
  • You will not be able to register any act related to your marital status (marriage, divorce, widowhood, etc.).
  • You may not intervene in judicial or administrative proceedings.
  • You will not be able to carry out notarial acts or sign any type of contract.
  • You may not be appointed public official.
  • You will not be able to enroll in any social program and/or obtain a license.

WHY WILL THERE BE A SECOND ROUND IN THE REGIONAL ELECTIONS?

In a total of nine regions of the country, the second round will take place, because -in the elections on October 2, 2022- none of the candidates reached 30% of valid votes to be elected to the position of regional governor.
