He National Service of Health (SNS) reported this Thursday that 21 minors were assisted in Public Network emergencies by poisoning alcoholic, on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The cases were referred to the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic and to the Ministry of Health Public.
Through a press release, the SNS He detailed that of the 21 minors treated for ingestion of alcoholeight correspond to the female sex and 13 male. Eight of them are 17 years old, six are 16, two are 15, two are 14, one is 13, one is 10 and one is 7.
He indicated that of the hospitals who reported poisoning in minors of age, two correspond to the Regional Service of Health Metropolitano, two Valdesia, two Norcentral, three Northeast, one Enriquillo, one Este, one Cibao Central and one Cibao Occidental.
The entity sent them the list with the names and other specifications of the minors.
The director of Hospital Centers of the SNSDr. Yocasta Lara, specified that the information was sent to both entities, as instructed by the procedure for the Protection of the Rights of Minors.
