How did Wall Street do on Thanksgiving?

Wall Street closed this Friday in green on this short day after the holiday Thanksgiving in Americawith its main indices rising, driven largely by the good results of chip manufacturing companies such as Nvidia.

When the stock market closes at 1:00 p.m. local time (6:00 p.m. GMT), the Dow Jones Industrials rose 0.42% to 44,910 units; The selective S&P 500 increased 0.56% to 6,032 points and the technological Nasdaq rose 0.83% to 19,218 points.

Nvidia rose 2.15% and accumulates an annual increase of 187%, while Lam Research rose 3.23% and the iShares semiconductor ETF (SOXX) advanced 1.34%.

By sectors, too green reigned and the greatest gains were for materials, which rose 0.49%, followed by industrials, which rose 0.43%. The real estate sector fell, 0.52%.

Among the 30 listed Dowthe one that rose the most was Nvidia, followed by Boeing (1.99%), Honeywell (1.43%) and Amazon (1.05%).
