According to documents in the possession of this newspaper, the residence located at 1003 Oakshire In, Conroe, Texas, in a suburb of Houston, was rented on a regular basis through a lease between its owners, Keith L. Schilling and Lauren M. Schilling, and Carolyn Adams, wife of José Ramón López Beltrán.
At the end of last January, the occupation of the house was pointed out by some media as a possible indication of conflict of interests
because one of its owners, Keith, worked for the Baker Hughes oil corporation, a contractor for Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) for more than six decades, while López Beltrán is the son of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
Some species have pointed out the possibility that the house had been given free of charge to the López Adams couple.
However, the day had access not only to the formal lease contract, which specifies an initial deposit of 5,600 dollars and a monthly rent for the same amount, starting on August 16, 2019 and ending on July 31, 2020, with an automatic renewal clause.
