Judge Gustavo Bóveda resolved on Tuesday the house arrest of Aida María Villalba, who was an employee of former prosecutor Javier Ibarra, found dead 15 days ago in his home in San Lorenzo.
The magistrate considers that Villalba manifests sufficient roots, and predisposition to face the process, for which the change of preventive detention initially arranged, to home corresponds.
Aida Maria was one of the first people to see Ibarra dead, since together with the landlord, they came to the house to do their domestic chores.
She was charged with aggravated robbery, accused of having hidden the weapon allegedly used to end Ibarra’s life.
The accusation was fueled by expert evidence, which revealed that she had traces of chemical elements present in the gunpowder in her hand.
Investigators maintain that he could have touched the firearm, in an unplanned action, although not without suspicion.
