The Government of the province of Buenos Aires arranged to extend the hours of vaccination against Covid-19 from today Monday 19 until Thursday 22 of the current month until 7:00 p.m. in order to encourage the application of all existing doses (1st dose, 2nd dose, additional dose and reinforcements) and achieve that the population has the complete scheme.
In turn, in line with the strategy of vaccination massive, they will add 30 itinerant posts from the provincial government to the more than 100 that were already carried out during this week. You can attend without prior shift to receive the immunizations against Covid-19 depending on those required by the age group and by pre-existing diseases.
The population must try to have the complete scheme of vaccination to face the growing wave of cases and thus be less likely to fall into intensive therapy with mechanical ventilation. If four months have passed since the last application, you are in a position to receive the next dose, they reported from the Government.
The population groups that most need to receive the immunizations are the following: people 50 years of age or older; people between the ages of 18 and 49 with some risk condition such as obesity, cardiovascular, renal and/or chronic respiratory disease, immunosuppressed people and pregnant people.
One should also take into account those who are 12 years of age or older, with immunocompromised conditions; health and strategic personnel regardless of age and people who reside or work in closed or long-term hospitalization institutions. According to national records, there are currently 41,067,292 people vaccinated with the first dose, 37,923,234 with two doses, 29,507,954 with a booster, and some 3,161,260 with an additional dose.
