Two young people in the United States were accused of a horrible crime: they killed their Spanish teacher after she gave them a bad grade.
According to different local media, the murder occurred last year in Iowa, but it was only now that prosecutors managed to find the possible motive.
They are Willard Miller and Jeremy Goodale, accused of ending the life of Nohema Graber (66) in the town of Fairfield on November 2, 2021.
According to AP News, the woman’s body was found in a park the next day, hidden under a tarp, a wheelbarrow and railroad ties. They ended her life with a baseball bat and they were both 16 years old.
The investigation
Investigators discovered that Miller met with Graber at Fairfields High School on the afternoon of November 2, 2021, to discuss the grade he had earned.
After that, Graber took his truck and drove to a park. Less than an hour later, witnesses saw the car with two men inside.
Later, a witness picked up the students while they were walking along the road.
In an interview with police, Miller said he was frustrated with the way the teacher was teaching Spanish and that his poor grade was hurting him.
“The poor rating is believed to be the motive behind the murder of Graber which directly connects to Miller,” detailed in court documents filed by Jefferson County Prosecutor Chauncey Molding and Iowa Assistant Attorney General Scott Brown. .
Although Miller initially said that he did not participate in the crime, he later confessed that “he was aware of everything but did not participate.”
