The candidates of the Honor Colorado movement highlighted the resounding victory achieved in the ANR internal elections and announced that they will work to achieve unity in support of List 1, ahead of the 2023 general elections.
In the victory speech made in front of the ANR Governing Board, the presidential duo of Santiago Peña and Pedro Alliana, as well as the leader of the Honor Colorado movement, Horacio Cartescelebrated the result obtained in the elections this Sunday.

At the same time, Former President Horacio Cartes assured that the presidency of the ANR is a great mission that he will have to assume from this moment, reaffirming his commitment “with God, with the Republic and with the Colorado Party”.
“From today we are all List 1those who propose divisions are not our party, we are going to hug them all”, he affirmed emphatically, at the time of mentioning that “They did not come to fight between colorados or to accuse and persecute each other.”

“We will go out to tour Paraguay and add colorados and non-colorados in a Paraguay where employment, health, education, security, a dignified life are needed”, he stated, noting that “The country must be cleaned up.”
Peña emphasized that in his heart “There is no place for hatred and grudges.” “Our work on List 1 does not accept antipathy, but party and republican discipline. This List 1 will raise the flag of concord and brotherhood among all Paraguayans,” he said.
