The results of the elections held on November 30 in Honduras continue without any official update
The results of the November 30 general election in Honduras remain unchanged Monday from Friday, with Nasry ‘Tito’ Asfura, presidential candidate of the conservative National Party and publicly backed by US President Donald Trump, leading by a slim lead.
Although the President of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Ana Paola Hall, announced on Sunday the “immediate” resumption of the scrutiny, paralyzed since Friday due to “technical problems”, the results of the elections continue without any official update.
On December 1, it was reported that the conservative candidates Nasry “Tito” Asfura, of the National Party – for whom the US president, Donald Trump, requested the vote -, and Salvador Nasralla, of the Liberal Party, were leading the preliminary count of the elections in Honduras, with a narrow difference for the former.

With 44.23% of the minutes counted, Asfura obtained 597,184 votes (40.39%), while Nasralla obtained 579,626 (39.20%), results that mark a change of trend in Honduras, governed in this last period by the left.
The official candidate Rixi Moncada, of the leftist Freedom and Refoundation Party (Libre), was relegated to a distant third place with 287,166 votes (19.42%), which has forced its leaders to be cautious, asking followers to remain “up in the fight” until the scrutiny is completed.
