A man of Haitian nationality was killed in a shot in his home when three individuals broke into his home, supposedly, with the intention of robbing him. The incident was recorded last night in the Villa Esperanza sector, north of Santiago.
The victim was identified as Jean Renelof 25 years of age.
Witnesses to the event reported that three men broke into the foreigner’s house. Allegedly, the wound provoked to the foreigner was caused by one of the three strangers who entered the house.
They said that, before giving him the shotthe criminals beat the deceased when he resisted the heist.
The group undertook the flight
After committing the crimethe group undertook the flight with unknown direction.
- It is unknown if they managed to carry any object of worth from the deceased’s house.
- The incident occurred on the night of Tuesday 14 January.
- The National Police works in the ID of the people who broke into the foreigner’s residence.
