The police and the prosecution are investigating the homicide of a 38-year-old man who was found dead this Tuesday morning at his home in Chuy (Rocha). The body, fallen in the patio, had several shots from a firearm.
The police presume that a drug dealer mouth in the place. Officers searched the home and found a firearm with two struck scabbards. It is being investigated whether it was the same one used for the crime.
The case is investigated as homicideconfirmed to The Observer the spokesman for the departmental headquarters, Alexis Duarte. The victim had a criminal record.
The victim was identified. Investigators estimate that the death occurred a few hours earlier than on Tuesday morning. The Scientific Police carried out a survey at the scene, and collected elements that are being studied.
