SANTO DOMINGO.- Police agents captured a 60-year-old homeless man this Thursday afternoon, identified as the person allegedly responsible for throwing a stone from the top of the overpass on Avenida 27 de Febrero, corner of Máximo Gómez, hitting the front window of a vehicle and caused the death of the driver Joel Rafael Cabrera Espino, who was traveling in an East-West direction.
This is Newton Pérez Féliz, who was located and arrested in response to an arrest warrant issued by a competent court.
The preliminary report indicates that the alleged perpetrator of the act, after throwing the stone from the overpass, walked to the surroundings of a food business, located near Tiradentes Avenue.
The event occurred in the early hours of last Sunday, when Cabrera Espino He was traveling aboard the Kia vehicle, black, license plate A860749.
After receiving the impact of the stone, which pierced the front window of that vehicle, Cabrera Espino stopped some 100 meters later in front of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center, where he died.
