They are on alert: Monte Plata, Santo Domingo, La Vega, Hato Mayor, Monseñor Nouel, San Cristóbal and Sánchez Ramírez.
According to the report of the National Meteorological Officethe east/northeast wind has kept dragging humidity over the Dominican territory and in combination with a trough that continues to affect the weather conditions, by favoring the development of downpours, electrical storms and occasional gusts of wind over the provinces of the northeast, southeast, (including Greater Santo Domingo), Cordillera Central and over some towns in the border area.

The meteorological report specified that this bad weather activity will be intensifying in the afternoon hours over a large part of the national geography, where moderate to strong downpours, electrical storms and gusts of wind will occur.
In relation to Holy Saturdaythe trough will be generating clouds from the early hours of the day, generating heavy downpours, with electrical storms and gusts of wind in the afternoon, being more frequent and intense over the mountain systems, this activity is expected on Sunday inclusive.
