To encourage domestic tourism in the country, the Government established seven additional non-working days for public sector workers nationwide in 2022.
According to him Supreme Decree 033-2022-PCM, published today in the official newspaper El Peruano, this benefit applies to public sector workers nationwide; however, private sector work centers can take advantage of the measure as long as they have an agreement with the collaborator.
It also indicates that the hours left to work during non-working days will be compensated in the following 10 days, or at the opportunity established by the head of each public entity, based on their own needs.
What days are non-working days for the public sector?
In Peru, in addition to the holidays marked on the calendar, the Government also establishes non-working daysaimed at both public and private sector workers, who usually take advantage of these dates to travel within the country or abroad, or rest at home and enjoy a family moment.
