The Integrated Transportation System (SIT) in charge of the Urban Transportation Authority (ATU) for Lima and Callao has made official the hours of operation in the Metropolitan, complementary corridors and the Metro line, during the New Year holiday.

According to the ATU, the routes established with special schedule that must be taken into account during the holiday to welcome the year 2025where the influx of people on the streets increases and so does the demand for transportation.
With the SIT attached to Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC)has decided that the thousands of public transport users should consider the public service scheme, with specific ranges.
On January 1, declared a New Year’s holiday, the list of schedules for the operation of the Metropolitan, complementary corridors, and the Lima Metro is as follows:
COMPLEMENTARY CORRIDORS
– Attention of 5am to 10.30pm on a regular basis.
METROPOLITAN
– Operation of regular services A, B and C from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and feeder routes until 11 at night.
LIMA AND CALLAO METRO LINE 1
– Service provided from 5.30 am to 10 pm, with a train passing frequency of 8.5 to 15 minutes depending on the time slot.
LIMA AND CALLAO METRO LINE 2
– Service provided during your usual hours (6 am to 11 pm).
In the Metropolitan, on December 31, a non-working holiday for the public sector, operations are normal except for the North Superexpresswhich will operate 5 to 10 am and of 11.30 a.m. to 9 p.m. from the Naranjal terminal to Central.
THE ROUTES OF THE METROPOLITAN
At the metropolitan level, Lima has millions of inhabitants, and a large percentage of them use the public transportation units offered by the Government through the ATU as an entity whose administration has more than 40 Metropolitan stations with both regular services and feeders, owls, among others.
In this sense, it is vital that users are informed about the routes that can be used from each stop considering the starting point on the south side in Matellini, Chorrillos and north side in Naranjal, Independencia.
Today the ATU offers you up to a QR to scan the access maps to the Metropolitan stations, all their services, and where there are also schedules, fares, and information regarding other public transport units that make up the SIT.
