American Tom Hoge, 32, has won his first PGA golf tournament by winning the Pebble Beach Pro-Am with a total of 268 strokes.two impacts less than his compatriot Jordan Spieth, ranked second, and a distance of three from Beau Hossler, who was third.
Hoge (63 69 68 68), who finished the first half of the course in a draw after adding three birdies for a double bogey and a bogey, was able to straighten the course in the second and, with greater concentration and without making more mistakes, he achieved four more birdies -the last two and decisive ones on holes 16 and 17- to win his first tournament on the American circuit since he debuted on it in 2015.

Colombian Camilo Villegas (67 72 70 73) added one to par after finishing with four birdies by five bogeys and with 282 he finished in 49th place.
The tournament has distributed 8.7 million dollars in prizes, 1,566,000 for the winner, and 500 FedExCup points.
Carson Young wins the Panama Championship
The American Carson Young sealed this Sunday a -8 under par and 272 hits in total, to add $135,000 to his bank account and the champion trophy of version number 8 of the PGA’s Korn Ferry Tour Panama Golf Championship, played at the Panama Golf Club.
In this last roundYoung signed a card of -2 under the par of the course, product of birdies in holes five and six, and worked a bogey in hole 2, to fulfill the objectivebe champion of the third stop of the PGA promotion tournament.
“I never saw the score in this last round, it wasn’t until I holed the ball on the 18th hole and my caddy told me I was the sole leader. I just have to wait,” the 27-year-old player told EFE.
For Young this “has been a wonderful week”, but, he stated, also “one of the most difficult”.
“The heat made the greens hard, but in the end our work on the greens was key to winning the championship,” Indian.
Already with less pressure, Young jokingly played a little with his mustache, something that caught the attention of clubgoers, to which the American attributed his luck in the Panamanian tournament.
“I was about to cut it (the mustache), because in two previous tournaments it had not passed the cut, but I think that after today I may leave it a little longer”the golf player commented between smiles.

“I had a good start, and today it was in my head to get into the top 10 at any cost, (although) I did not know that the day was going to be so complicatedbut I managed a round of three less than in the end it was worth it,” said the 27-year-old.
The native of Tucumán, Argentina, added that he felt he played on two different courts, referring to the change in weather conditions. that occurred on Saturday and Sunday, which affected the dynamics of the competition.
