Federal authorities found a storage center
of drugs in Culiacán, Sinaloa, in which 510 thousand fentanyl tablets, 83 kilos of the same substance in solid state and 31 kilos of cocaine were found.
This is the largest seizure in the history of fentanyl, in an inspection that was carried out for three days, reported the Attorney General’s Office (FGR).
The federal government indicated that 10 people were arrested in this operation and a historic seizure of 542.72 kilograms of fentanyl was achieved.
The FGR indicated that the searched address is located in the Las Flores neighborhood, where a thousand kilograms of methamphetamine were also located; 83 kilograms of a solid fentanyl substance; 31 kilograms of cocaine, eight kilos of heroin and 26 thousand pesos.
Seven vehicles seized
Various quantities of chemical precursors for the manufacture of drugs were seized. Similarly, a truck coupled with a dry box, as well as six vehicles of different brands.
What was seized was put at the disposal of the agent of the Public Ministry of the Federation in Culiacán, where specialized experts will determine the exact quantities and weights of the drug.
