So far, there are 75 healthcare centers that use the “Health Information System” (HIS for its acronym in English). On this occasion, the implementation was carried out in the District Hospitals of Presidente Franco and Altos.
The information system is used in 16 of the 18 health regions of the country, with 75 care centers at all levels. This streamlines and improves the quality of patient care processes in health facilities, collecting data in real time and providing accurate reports for decision-making at the managerial level.
Recently, the district hospitals of Presidente Franco – Alto Paraná and Altos – Cordillera were integrated into the service network with HIS. With this system, healthcare centers are taking a significant leap in terms of health and technology.
The HIS allows to standardize the workflow in health establishments, in which the first step is the admission of the patient. Subsequently, he goes to pre-consultation, where vital signs and categorization are recorded.
