His mother mistakenly sent more than $2 million to Nequi, the platform said “not all is lost” but no one returns the money.

The publication was made on Twitter last Saturday, April 9, by the youth activist and candidate for the Cartagena Council, Jhon Jaime León.

He wrote that “if anyone knows someone with this name, please give me their whereabouts and I will give a reward.”

He explained that the money was to “pay something and I accidentally made a mistake in a number or to the one I sent it to, I will give something in exchange to return it to me.”

However, he received several messages in which they would be pointing out the error, for which he stated that “my dear mother was the one who made the transfer because she did not want to accept help, anyone was wrong, anyone can be wrong.”

Adding that “people are super good at judging and pointing.”

Nequi’s answers

In the comments of the publication, many expressed their opinion, there were several who were stating that the money “was lost”, others that “first he said it happened to him” and then to the mother.

In addition to who was upset when detailing that “how are you going to let your mother who has no experience sending money, give away more than $2 million because -I didn’t even say iyidir-“.

However, most Internet users stressed that making a mistake today in a transfer of this type is complex, “because Nequi asks you a thousand times,” they said.

Some Tw response from the platform.
