SMART service offers a comfortable business class option on board with hand-stitched leather seats, complimentary Starlink WiFi, multiple power and USB outlets, and a variety of food and beverages available for purchase.
Although it is not specified when the inauguration will be, the tickets that are already on sale cover from September 1 of this year until the beginning of 2024.
“Brightline guests and the travel market have spoken loudly, and we want to respond by opening ticket sales from late summer through early next year,” said Patrick Goddard, Brightline president.
Through a release Goddard said one-way premium fares start at $149, a first-class experience with additional services including a premium lounge, priority boarding, checked bags and complimentary snacks and beverages throughout the trip.
“Connecting South and Central Florida by rail will allow for greater productivity and flexibility while promoting a better work-life balance,” he added.
Upon booking, users will receive a confirmation email and instructions on how to add extras such as parking, checked baggage and Brightline+ mobility options.
Brightline, the only provider of modern and green intercity trains in the United States, began capacity tests last March at 115 miles per hour (185km/h) between Cocoa and Orlando International Airport, as part of the service it will offer from Miami. .
