The future of the logistics market looks promising, since its growth suggests that each year it will require more technical specialists to meet the needs of different companies that operate in the country. Which is the labor demand in the sector and what are the salaries offered?
The Peruvian Institute of Applied Logistics (Inlog) explains that almost all types of companies require more and more of these types of professionals due to the increase in consumption capacity: from food, clothing, entertainment, gifts to sports.
“There are many professional growth opportunities for logistics technicians. According to a study by the PwC firm, in the next 10 years 17 million professionals will be needed in this field, which makes it an excellent study option for young people who graduate from college or any other person who wants to continue technical studies regardless of age or gender”, explains the institute.
Another aspect that the entity highlights is that logistics is one of the most important parts for any company, since if it fails or does not work efficiently, thousands of people will be left without products, which would be a serious problem for any company. company. Therefore, the market is growing and a large number of specialists are required to dedicate themselves to this field.
THE SALARIES
According to the Inlog, in Peru there are 58 logistics, transport and distribution training companies that allow 85% of their apprentices to be hired at the end of their studies, and work in various companies. What are the remunerations they can receive?
“They range between S/1,025 and S/1,800 if they work as graduates and assistants; and between S/2,500 and S/8,000 if they hold positions of analyst, supervisor, coordinator and head of logistics”, reports the institution.
