Santo Domingo.- After winning the elections again as president of the Dominican Association of Teachers (ADP), representing the board Eugenio María de Hostos and the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) Eduardo HidalgoHe assured that he will continue working for the respect and dignity of teaching work.

Through his social networks, Hidalgo thanked the support received from the National Teachers, “who expressed themselves at the polls for the union and strengthening of the ADP.”

Likewise, he highlighted that the challenges of the union are many in this new period 2024-2027.

For its part, the PLD described the victory of its candidate as “conclusive”, stating that its results almost triple that of its closest competitor, Professor Nolberto Ortiz, candidate of the Corriente José Francisco Peña Gómez promoted by the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM). ).

“In the first bulletin of the elections to elect its new authorities, Hidalgo wins with 66.36% of the votes, against 25.88% of its competitor, while in third place is the candidate Adhamilka Espinal, for the Magisterial Force. of the People’s Force (FP)”, it was detailed.
