For eight years, Orjuela resides in the United States. In an interview with Vea, shared details about his life in the North American country. He confessed that, when he arrived in Miami, he did not have a defined stability, but he saw the move as a personal advance.
“Today, after so long to go through this path, both personally and professional, I have managed to consolidate a project without losing my Colombian identity. I love and long for my land. Since last year, we become American citizens, which has also allowed me to expand my professional horizons, ”he said.

During this time, together with his wife, producer Patricia Valderruten, He established his presence in the television and business. “In these eight years I have built a lot. Together with my wife, we managed to consolidate a company with an important name. After five or six years closely linked to our international TV, they offered me the opportunity to create my own format with greater autonomy. Today, with our company, we provide communication advice in an integral way: we not only produce content, but also guide strategies, monetize in social networks and direct projects, ”he explained.

“Everything arose in an encounter with Juan Pablo Llano and Carmen Villalobos. We realized that Colombians in the United States rarely help or try to create community, especially in the world of art, culture and entertainment. The Foundation has been a beautiful project, because it has allowed us to unite and support us. Many arrive with the ‘American dream’, but it is not easy to make their way in the artistic and entertainment industry. With Colombns USA, we have achieved valuable connections and significant efforts to support our diaspora, which adds millions of people, ”he concluded.
